A club owns squads across sports and age groups. Its players carry their own Player IDs, may be loaned or transferred between clubs, and may be acquired by league franchises for a season without the club registration ever moving.

Team ≠ Franchise
Mumbai Lions is a league franchise: it acquires players by auction for a season. Arjun Nair plays for the Lions in 2026 while remaining a Southside club player.
